Why I Will No Longer Post On X

A Simple Account Matter

Today, I tried to post on X and received an error box requiring me to enter my phone number to continue.

I do not provide personal information on social media platforms. I never enter my real birthday, address, or any identifiable information on social platforms, including my phone number.

Given that I don’t trust the owner and operators of X, it is a hard no for me.

I tried putting in a fake number just to satisfy the request, but they want to send a code in order to finish account set-up. So, since I don’t possess the fake number..again, its a hard no for me.

So, I guess my last post on X is my post on Dec 31, 2024 when I posted by last article of 2024.
