This goes back to #3. I had to tell myself to focus on BEING who I desire vs detaching from who I no longer desire to be. By using my brain as a map to my future, I am putting my attention and energy on my future and anything that does not get my attention is no longer a part of me. So, I don't have to worry about avoiding it; it naturally separates from me because it is not getting my energy. And I give myself grace if I slip because I am human. I make a good day out of a bad moment by recognizing my "slip" and then getting myself back up.
