We are literally earning pennies for paragraphs. I have an article that I’m waiting on Illumination to publish where I discuss this in detail and how Medium should improve its earnings program to promote the “high-quality human” writing it desires.

However, after receiving yesterday’s email from the Medium Staff, with direction on how to write but no acknowledgement or accountability for the known earnings issue currently taking place, I’m a bit more frustrated. I replied to the email and asked them to address the earnings issue.

Per usual, I have been writing quality stories, but I’ve been getting a lot of great engagement (from real people) in the last few weeks. These are 5–12-minute articles that people are highlighting, commenting, and clapping on!
