How in TF can we in the same damn day be mad at Emmanuel Acho for not honoring Angel Reese’s sentiments about the harassment she receives but then point fingers, write articles in major Black publications, and dissertations on Beyonce’s internet about how Amanda Seales is a problem for stating her sentiments about the isolation she receives?

Why are these two women getting different treatment? Same question applies to Mo’Nique versus Taraji on the treatment they received when voicing their concerns with pay disparities in Hollywood for Black women.

The ISSUE is that we have allowed white people’s perception of Black women to taint our very perception of Black women.

Difficult.

Angry.

Challenging.

Condescending.

A Black woman has to cry to get our support it seems. I mean, how can you explain that Taraji and Angel got so much support almost immediately while Mo’Nique and Amanda get social media dissertations and Black-owned and operated media articles where they are the subject of being unlikeable?

I’m going to give it to you straight, no chaser.
